The 2019 HMK Children’s Water Festival was hosted at the Kinark Outdoor Centre on September 30th and October 1st. 966 elementary students from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board had fun learning about water with the help of 42 activity centres! Children enjoyed active learning while they laughed and enjoyed the great outdoors! Ten activity centres were provided by organizations and individuals who donated their time, resources and staff to bring water education to our youth. The remaining activities were facilitated by students from Trent University, Fleming College (Lindsay), the Kawartha Pine Ridge Youth Leadership in Sustainability Class and community members.

The 2020 HMK Children’s Water Festival will once again be hosted at the Kinark Outdoor Centre on September 28th & 29th. Registration will open in May! Hope to see you there!
